You will see the most significant difference in the shadow settings with
more options to control shadows when you select Eevee as a renderer.
6.7 Quick setup for rendering
Since each renderer requires specific settings to achieve good lighting
results, we will use a simple scene shown in Figure 6.24 to apply a quick
setup using both Eevee and Cycles. In the process, we can tweak
settings for lights and shadows.

From that scene, you will learn how to prepare a project for rendering
with both engines.
Unfortunately, it is hard to replicate the same settings for all scenes in a
3D project. That happens because each scene has unique needs and
aspects, which might demand adjustments from the author.
